GundamUniverseMap
Titles inside the same continuity share a fictional history. Titles in different continuities are generally separate stories and can often be watched independently.
Each lane is a fictional continuity. Shared lane means shared history; separate lane usually means independent story world.
Solid markers are mainline routes. Dashed markers are supplemental, compilations, side stories, or alternate retellings.
The Gundam silhouette marks every animated production; card borders and detail labels identify supplemental works, compilations, and retellings.
Color separates continuities, but every production also carries text labels and metadata.
Mode Rules
Story order places works by fictional chronology within their continuity when a useful era label exists.
Release order places the same works by first real-world release year, revealing how the franchise actually unfolded.
Some placements are approximate, disputed, or alternate-continuity-adjacent. Those are labeled in the detail panel.
Methodology And Scope
Scope
This MVP focuses on major animated Gundam productions and major fictional continuities. It intentionally leaves room for manga, novels, games, live-action, short promotional animation, and deeper episode-level arcs later.
Uncertain Decisions
Turn A, Reconguista in G, Thunderbolt, The Origin, and Cucuruz Doan's Island are represented with caution where chronology, adaptation status, or meta-continuity relationships can be argued differently.
The map is a recommendation and orientation tool, not an official canon declaration.
